A month’s worth of virtual programs throughout October

In light of COVID-19 and the health risks of hosting a large festival at this time, Doors Open Baltimore is going all virtual in 2020.

Organized by the Baltimore Architecture Foundation (BAF), Doors Open Baltimore is the free citywide festival of architecture and neighborhoods that invites thousands of people to explore the city and make meaningful connections to the built environment.

Replacing a weekend of open houses and in-person tours will be a month’s worth of virtual programs. Every week of October will include a new theme and new ways to virtually engage with Baltimore’s architecture and neighborhoods. Participants can expect:
Live Virtual On-Location Tours
Live Virtual Presentations
Doors Open Baltimore Virtual Trivia Nights
Virtual Workshops and Family Activities
Instagram At-Home Photo Contest
And more to come
BAF is excited for the opportunity to develop a month’s worth of engaging Doors Open Baltimore content and reach audiences in Baltimore and around the world. Program announcements will be made in the months leading up to October. Visit www.doorsopenbaltimore.org for more information and follow the program on Facebook and Instagram.

BAF hopes to return to an in-person Doors Open Baltimore weekend in 2021.
